It was a great honour for Mr Lothar Janotta, CEO of EMF Holding AG, and other selected delegates to accompany the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Christian Wulff, on his first state visit to Russia as a member of the economic delegation. A grandiose welcome had been arranged in the Kremlin where Russia's President Dmitri Medvediev had invited his guests to come. President Wulff's visit to Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Tver and Petersburg lasted 4 days, and the résumé he gave on his way back to Berlin was consistently positive. He emphasized that based on their strategic partnership both countries share many interests in politics and economy. He encouraged German companies to recognize that the gates of Russia are open for more engagement and investment in Russia and for a cooperation between Russian and German companies.
